Review: Stalking Jack the Ripper

Seventeen-year-old Audrey Rose Wadsworth was born a lord’s daughter, with a life of wealth and privilege stretched out before her. But between the social teas and silk dress fittings, she leads a forbidden secret life.

Against her stern father’s wishes and society’s expectations, Audrey often slips away to her uncle’s laboratory to study the gruesome practice of forensic medicine. When her work on a string of savagely killed corpses drags Audrey into the investigation of a serial murderer, her search for answers brings her close to her own sheltered world.

First off, I just have to say this about Thomas Cresswell…

Stalking Jack the Ripper is AMAZING!!! I would give this book 10/5 stars if I could. I adore the characters, plot and relationships–everything is pure wonderful.

I really love the main character, Audrey Rose. She is such a strong and smart character. She is also a very witty character. Ahh I absolutely love it!! Oh, and her relationship between her and Thomas is so addicting. I love reading about them. I ship them so hard!!

In addition, the story is just as fantastic!! I totally saw that ending coming, but it was still super fun following along Audrey’s story. I also adore the atmosphere. It’s so eerie and dark. Ekk!! It is so captivating. I couldn’t stop turning the pages.

To sum it all up: I need more books by Kerri Maniscalco!! I can’t wait to read the sequel to this jewel. Be sure to add Stalking Jack the Ripper to your TBR if you are looking for a book that would keep you on your toes.
