What I Think:
Into the darkness they go, the wise and the lovely. -Edna St. Millay
Last seen leaving is about the disappearance of Flynn’s girlfriend, January. When discovering the truth to this strange mystery, Flynn deals with his sexuality. Also, he struggles to find the truth in all the secrets and contradicting rumors flying around the community. The disappearance turns out to be more than what it seems.
“Where is January?”
Although most of the books these days seem to mainly focus on a brave female protagonists, Last Seen Leaving portrays a strong male main character. Also, usually I don’t read LTBTG books, but this one I enjoyed. It isn’t heavy on romance, but more of a suspenseful book. It’s actually quite interesting! I enjoyed the twists and turns and I adored the mystery to this novel. I would totally recommend this book for quick reading!
